The second step

There is a great energy that comes from choosing to change your life. Usually a desire has grown overtime until it needs to be released with action. So you act on this reserve of energy and charge into the unknown with your first step!

  • You go to the gym for your first session. 
  • You decide that you don’t want to continue with your current job.
  • You remove all the unhealthy food from your kitchen. 
  • You ask someone out that you really like. 

But then some hard realities emerge from taking the first step. 

  • You wake up sore and are less inclined to go back to the gym. 
  • You become worried about searching for new possibilities in the current job market. 
  • Suddenly it’s Friday night and you really want takeaway after a big week. 
  • You get rejected and are then cautious about putting yourself out there with someone else. 

While an amazing energy is available to you when you spark a change, you need to draw on something more to keep pushing ahead. It can be more important to prepare for the second step on your journey than the first step.
