There are many benefits to planning each week around a specific project.
- There’s a lot you can do in a week. It’s enough time to tackle something meaty and make things happen.
- A week is a good amount of time for us to grasp. If we set ourselves a deadline for one week away, we have a good sense of how we’ll need to manage our capacity and energy.
- We base our lives around this cycle of weekly renewal, where we work hard and then relax. It’s easier to structure projects when you know there is a break on the horizon and you can start again with a fresh cycle.
- It’s also cool to consider that when you define your weeks around individual projects, that means you can do around 50 major projects each year. This brings into focus what you can reasonably achieve with your efforts over time.
Consider your weeks then as sprints, with each defined by a singular objective.
What will you achieve this week?
