Dealing with rejection

When your ideas or initiatives are rejected by others, it can be easy to feel discouraged. 

Here are two ways to help shift your mindset from negative to positive. 

The first is to appreciate that rejection is feedback. People are telling you what they don’t want, which can be an invitation to understand what they do want. 

The second is to appreciate that you are seeking people who need what you have. There are people that will really value what you have to offer, and so rejection is a necessary part of trying to find them.
