You may not like keeping a list of everything you need to do because it feels overwhelming.
You get anxious looking at it and would rather not be reminded of all that’s outstanding.
The trouble though is without this record you find yourself losing track of important tasks.
What I’ve found helpful is to reframe the value of your list.
It’s immensely satisfying crossing out items on your list once you do them. The key then is keeping the crossed items on your list for a little while so you can see how much you’ve accomplished.
This transforms your relationship with the list from overwhelm to satisfaction.
