2 ½ ways to AI-proof your career

1. Sell

Everyone is selling something.

But most people don’t realise this.

Which also means they’re not great at it…

Every time you convince someone in a meeting, pitch a solution or liaise with a client, you’re selling.

If you want to move forward in your career, stop pretending you’re not in sales.

Start getting better at it.

2. Lead

Good leaders bring clarity when others spiral.

That could be running a project, making tough calls or just being the person people trust when things get hard.

Sure, AI can suggest a vision or a plan.

But leaders are needed to make it happen (and bring others with them).

2.5 Specialise (carefully)

Being a specialist gives you leverage, until the thing you’re great at gets automated (like Radiography).

If you’re focusing on one specialty, ask yourself:

Is this something AI will make more powerful or more replaceable?

The answer will determine your career.

Ben and Bec have taken me through the QLA Framework over the past 12 months. They have a unique understanding of what twenty-somethings are seeking - clarity, purpose and systems to achieve what they want in life (to name a few). It is with sobering gratitude that I can reflect on the past year and say wholeheartedly that I've managed to gain all of the above with QLA’s help.
