Sometimes when we have a problem, we try to solve it through comparison. Do I choose A or do I choose B?
This can be a simple and effective approach for many problems. Though if the choice isn’t coming easy, here’s something that may help.
Assess each option on its own merit. What would you do if B wasn’t an option? If A was your only option, would you go ahead with it?
Neither of your current options may result in the best outcome. So assessing each one in isolation will discourage you from committing to either, and it will encourage you to seek other options that may be better.
