Breaking a commitment

There are times when it is better to break a commitment than keep a commitment.

Though this can be hard to do.

We worry about what people will think. We don’t want to let other people down. We question what our commitments mean.

So rather than face this challenge, we sometimes decide that keeping the commitment is actually better, even though it’s coming at a greater cost.

If a decision is no longer serving you, the best thing you can do is stop.

Push through the resistance to make it happen, and you will put yourself in a better place.
