Choosing your job titles

Whether you have a career or a business, it’s important to consider the label that describes your position.

The same position can have different job titles attached to it and this would convey very different impressions.

Your job title is intended to open doors and make it clear for the right people to find you (both internally and externally). If your job title is restricting the value you add to your organisation, then you may be able to influence a change to your title.

You should also consider how your job title will add to your resume. Your list of job titles is one of the first things recruiters and potential employers look at, and it’s particularly important if you’re aspiring towards roles that have prerequisite titles. You want your future self to be equipped with an impressive list by being deliberate with each title you choose or pursue.

Here's why we love what we do

Ben and Bec have taken me through the QLA Framework over the past 12 months. They have a unique understanding of what twenty-somethings are seeking - clarity, purpose and systems to achieve what they want in life (to name a few). It is with sobering gratitude that I can reflect on the past year and say wholeheartedly that I've managed to gain all of the above with QLA’s help.

The Quarter Life Framework is so simple, yet so powerful. I tend to overcomplicate things and burden myself with a lot of different problems to make sure everything is working. The Framework allowed me to simply get clear on what I actually wanted.
