When I wanted to become Head of Operations, I wrote a proposal for the CEO.
I put a lot of thought and effort into the proposal, but ensured that it was clearly laid out and simple to read.
I remember presenting the proposal to the CEO in the morning, and it was approved later that day.
A big organisational decision, made just like that.
People think that time is needed to make decisions, especially major ones.
But time isn’t what’s needed.
It’s clarity.
