Confirming engagements

It’s amazing how much your schedule can change around life, rather than the other way around.

This means that many of the engagements you agree to won’t happen on the day and time that’s set.

Typically it’s because something more pressing appears and the meeting needs to be rescheduled. But it could simply be because one side forgets the arrangement was made.

That’s why I’ve found it very helpful to send a confirmation message before an event. This could be at the start of the day that it’s scheduled, or you may want more advanced notice if the engagement is more significant.

It’s just a little thing to do, but I’ve found it provides a lot of benefit to both sides (and I’m always grateful when I receive a confirmation reminder from the other person if the event has slipped my mind).

Ben and Bec have taken me through the QLA Framework over the past 12 months. They have a unique understanding of what twenty-somethings are seeking - clarity, purpose and systems to achieve what they want in life (to name a few). It is with sobering gratitude that I can reflect on the past year and say wholeheartedly that I've managed to gain all of the above with QLA’s help.

The Quarter Life Framework is so simple, yet so powerful. I tend to overcomplicate things and burden myself with a lot of different problems to make sure everything is working.
