Sometimes when we commit to a goal we adopt an all-or-nothing approach.
We feel that we can’t slip up at all, and if we do then we give the goal away entirely.
Committing to a goal means changing established behaviours, and that’s really hard.
It’s inevitable that you will slip back into your old ways, and when you do, it’s helpful to appreciate that discipline is something that takes practice.
And like any pursuit, the more you practise, the better you get.
So when you commit to a goal, you should also commit to keep practising discipline.
