When you present or host an event, it’s very tempting to leave the audience with housekeeping details like:
- Remember to redeem your parking
- Don’t forget to check your inbox tomorrow morning
- The bus will collect you at midnight.
There are 3 key moments your audience or guests will remember:
- The start
- The climax
- The end
And the end is the most powerful, because that’s the last thing they leave with.
Virtually anything admin-related can be communicated at a different time and way to your audience.
Instead, use that sacred moment to leave a lasting impression on your guests.
Tie a beautiful bow around the proceedings, and release them with a wonderful connection to you and the experience.
It’s hard to do, because we feel it’s our responsibility to communicate important details.
But it’s way more powerful if you can craft a memorable ending.
