Fiddly leaf figs

It’s amazing how fiddle leaf figs have become THE indoor plant.

They are very popular because their lush, full, rich-green leaves look fantastic.

The problem though, is that they’re super fiddly…

For a plant to be so popular, they’re not exactly low maintenance.

Bec and I jumped on the fiddle-leaf bandwagon. We’re not green thumbs, but we’ve definitely given a lot of TLC to these plants.

Sometimes a beautiful fresh new leaf will burst through and your heart will soar.

But a lot of the time we’ve struggled to understand how to make them thrive. And it seems each fiddle-leaf owner we talk to has a different opinion about how to care for them.

So if you find yourself buying a fiddle leaf fig that looks fresh and full and fabulous, just appreciate that you’re in for an emotional ride.
