If you are presented with an opportunity but are unsure whether to take it, a powerful thought exercise is picturing what will happen if you do.
Doing so forces you to consider which aspects of your life will change, and you’ll be surprised which changes you focus on.
Do your best to identify as many key changes as you can, and then understand what they mean for you. Why did these particular changes come to mind? What effect are they having on you? How comfortable are you with the potential consequences from these changes?
Once you appreciate these specific changes, you’ll have a greater understanding about the path you really want to take.
