Is career success based on LUCK or EFFORT?

47% said Effort

I went with Luck.

We love the idea that hard work leads to results.

But I believe our society overweights the value of effort.

Opportunities often come down to timing, access and who happens to notice your work.

But this doesn’t mean success is outside of your control.

I think luck can be a strategy.

You can get luckier by getting in more rooms, showing up consistently, building useful relationships and saying yes to things before you feel ready.

Don’t think of it as magic.

Think of it more as momentum.
