Is this the future of work?

Every uni student turns their camera off in virtual classes.

Could this be the future of workplaces and meetings?

Having your camera off goes against everything I believe that your career is about. 🌟

In a world where so many people are seeking connection and transparency, it seems strange how the default is to hide yourself when engaging in meaningful work.

And it doesn’t matter if it’s a potential client or a colleague. 👥

For me, business IS personal, and it’s WAY more fulfilling when you can see each other’s faces while having a conversation. 🗣️

At uni, having your camera off is so ingrained that some students are shocked when they start working and realise that having cameras on is the norm and a sign of respect. 🙌

But here’s the thing.

Having your camera off at work may be frowned upon now, but if an entire generation is used to it, then surely this behaviour will become more mainstream as time goes by? (and may even become the norm??) 🔮

Am I the only one who thinks this could happen?
