We all feel resistance when approaching a task that needs to get done. The resistance is strongest before you begin, but it falls away quickly if you can push through it.
So how do you begin?
Just commit to working for 5 minutes.
Rather than feeling like you need to complete the whole task at once, or commit to working for hours, it’s easy to say you’ll just do 5 minutes.
And then more often than not, something magical happens. Once you go for 5 minutes, you actually want to keep going.
