A big part of success is taking consistent action, which means setting up habits that will work for you rather than against you.
Some people are motivated by pushing through resistances, which is represented through a mentality like “embracing the grind”.
Personally, I’m more likely to keep to a routine that is easy to maintain and doesn’t require me to keep overcoming challenges.
And for me, the more fun something is, the more I’m likely to keep doing it.
So try not to think that you must do something that’s “hard” in order to earn success. Rather, think about what will keep you sustainably engaged.
