As you’re reading this post I’m likely flying over the Atlantic Ocean.
I wrote this post before I flew out, as I reflected on how air travel is one of the last real vestiges of being off-the-grid.
I love the idea of hopping on a plane and for a brief time being truly disconnected from the outside world.
But as airlines gradually roll out international wi-fi, I wonder if we will ever experience life without constant communication again.
Because if we’re no longer forced to go without our phones and it becomes a choice to tap in or tap out of the digital grid, what would you choose?
