Pacing yourself

One of the hardest things about knowing what you want is then wanting to achieve it as soon as you can.

You felt frustrated when you were lost, then relieved and excited when you gained clarity on your direction, then frustrated again because it’s taking so long to get there. 

It’s helpful to appreciate that the process is more a trek than a sprint. 

You can feel frustrated on the trek because you don’t know how long it will take to reach your destination.

Or you can feel satisfied knowing that every step is taking you closer to where you really want to be. 

Trust me, if you’re clear on what you want, the path to get there will reveal itself. Just pace yourself to keep moving forward consistently.
