Yesterday I hit a new personal best for running.
My last PB was set in 2019, which means I’m running faster and further now at 35 than I was at 31.
This is also after injuring my right knee 18 months ago which made it hard to walk, let alone run.
There’s been part of me that wonders if I’ve passed my physical peak.
And I’m sure I have, because I only started recording my times in 2017.
But even so, it was immensely satisfying setting myself this target and hitting it.
And it demonstrates that you can still achieve significant things in areas of life you feel you’ve neglected.
