At Quarter Life Academy, we focus on three areas of life – career, health and relationships. This is because these areas have outsized potential for the rest of your life when effectively considered early.
Career is the most common topic that people want to discuss, as our 20s and 30s are marked by big transitions and the need to make decisions in this area feel the most pressing.
Health is the next highest focus, usually because the payoffs from better mental and physical health feel more accessible and immediate.
Relationships are the lowest focus. This isn’t to say that people don’t value this area. Everyone understands the importance of finding someone special and what that could mean for their life. It just isn’t prioritised as much as the other two, for a variety of reasons.
It’s important then to just remind people in their 20s and 30s to consider how they are prioritising relationships. Consider how much time and thought you are giving to your business or your career. What would it mean for your life if relationships were your highest priority?
