LeBron James is considered one of the greatest NBA players in history. He’s often compared to Michael Jordan, but he stands out in a very unique way.
Michael was known for having more of an antagonistic leadership style, perhaps best characterised by his sentiment that “there’s no i in team, but there is in win”.
LeBron on the other hand is known for his servant leadership, which as the name implies is where leaders are motivated to serve those around them.
This is best captured by the Head Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers when they won the Championship:
The biggest thing with LeBron and the reason why I say he deserves it is because of the person that he is. He’s a giver. He’s always looking to take care of people. He’s always been nice to everyone. If anyone deserves it, LeBron James definitely deserves it.
Both players had unique leadership styles, and both leadership styles produced Championships.
