We don’t question whether we need to shower each day. It’s not something we think twice about, or struggle to do. We don’t feel inconvenienced by the process, or feel put out that we need to do it.
We don’t complain that each day we need to sacrifice our time to take off our clothes, wait for the water to be the right temperature, stand under the water, clean ourselves and towel ourselves off.
We just do it.
There’s no resistance. It’s a natural behaviour. And for many, it’s actually an enjoyable experience.
And yet, we had to learn this process. It’s become a fundamental part of our life that we no longer think about it. We know the value it provides.
When we try to add new rituals to our life, it doesn’t feel this easy. It can feel hard to embed a new behaviour, and more often than not we will stop before the change feels natural.
What if your new routine could be as easy as having a shower?
