Every coffee order is different, but it’s interesting hearing those that are contradictory. “One latte please with skinny milk, extra sugar”.
We all do it.
Adding sugar-free coke to full-sugar rum.
Spreading cholesterol-reducing margarine on bread, before jam.
Buying heart-smart mince and garlic bread.
Are we trying to be more good or less bad? The funny thing is, these contradictions restrict us from enjoying both extremes. We don’t choose indulgence, and we don’t choose discipline.
We have our cake and we eat it too. And we’re ok with that. But should we be?
