When I was in primary school, the administration had this poem on their counter:
Thank you and please
Are two little keys
That open up two little doors
If you say one, you’ll get something
If you say two you’ll get more.
If you’re really striving to do things in life that deliver big results, manners would have to be right up there – they cost nothing, they take barely any effort, and yet the impact you can make on someone is huge.
