The quarter life crisis

During our 20s and 30s we are faced with an amazing array of opportunities, but also confronted with needing to make some big life choices. This can be quite overwhelming, and it’s such a common occurrence that it’s been labelled the Quarter Life Crisis.

The “crisis” can take many forms, but generally speaking it is experienced for an extended time. People can feel lost for many months, and sometimes years. This was part of the reason we established the Quarter Life Academy. We wanted to help people in their 20s and 30s gain clarity so they don’t feel stuck for such a long time.

There are many ways to navigate a crisis, and some of our future posts will explore this. But the key thing to realise is that it shouldn’t be experienced in isolation. You don’t need to “figure everything out” by yourself. Instead, try to find someone who will maintain conversations with you about life. The subject and structure of the conversation matters less than ensuring they’re sustained.

It means a lot that you’ve subscribed to these posts and you’re giving yourself the time and space to reflect on life. If you haven’t already, we highly recommend you find someone to have the conversations about life that are worth having.
