I wonder if you’ve picked up on a writing technique I’ve been using in these posts?
It’s called the “Rule of Three”
We love things that come in threes. There’s a wonderful harmony that comes with hearing three examples, or three building statements, or three powerful sentences.
I find three to be a great balance for connecting with your audience, and it’s easy to use if you’d like to try it. Grouping your examples into threes is the easiest place to start, and from there you can experiment with other ways to make your messages flow. Barack Obama used this technique a lot:
I have listened to you, I have learned from you, and you’ve made me a better president.
The courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting.
Yes we can.
