If you’ve got sufficient cash to satisfy payments when they come due, try to pay them as quickly as you can.
This is especially meaningful when you are dealing directly with the person providing the goods or service.
If you do so, you may get a response like this one which I received last week: “Bloody hell mate that was quick. I’d like a few more customers like you. Thanks a lot.”
Prompt payments aren’t the norm, so if you pay quickly you will create a great incentive for that person to deal with you again.
