Trojan habits

It can be empowering to start a new habit or stop an existing habit (and for it to stick!)

But when we do this, we sometimes don’t realise that we started another bad habit inadvertently.

For example, I ran the Sydney Marathon this year and got into a good training regime.

Alongside my running habit, I didn’t realise I had started a new habit of eating dessert.

Regular desserting was fine while I was regularly running.

But once I ran the Marathon and stopped the exercise regime, my dessert habit continued (until I eventually realised I was doing it…)
