Saying you didn’t have time to do something is an easy excuse, as it gives the impression it was outside of your control.
But whenever you say this it’s good to consider what you did with your time instead.
Scrolled your phone? Watched a few episodes of a show? Finished a bottle of wine?
Are you saying these were conscious decisions you made because they were important priorities?
Or did you really have the time to do what you said you would but chose poorer alternatives instead?
