What is HARDER? Starting a job or leaving a job?

Yesterday’s Opinion Dominion was:

What’s harder?

Starting a job: 40%

Leaving a job: 60%

I went with Leaving.

Sure, there’s a learning curve when you start something new.

But I think leaving a job comes with more feelz.

You’re stepping away from a routine you’re used to.

You’re saying goodbye to a community.

You’re finishing work where you understood your value.

That finality can hit hard.

And it’s also why people stay longer than they should.

Leaving means facing the unknown, and the unknown is uncomfortable.

On a side note, I’m really enjoying how the community is building around these questions. I’d love to hear any topics you may like to ask!

Here’s today’s question:

👉 Do you PLAN your career or FOLLOW opportunities?
