One of the simplest ways to reduce overwhelm is to identify what’s sitting in your court that should be in someone else’s.
Take an inventory of all the things you need to do, and you’ll quickly see which things aren’t really yours to do. Shift these into the right courts as soon as you can.
Then identify the things which could be done by others. If you can try to shift these into other courts too (in a thoughtful way of course), then you can focus your energy on the key tasks which you’re best placed to do.
