When do you start to age?

Anyone who lives in Australia would recognise Amanda Keller, as she’s been a television and radio presenter for over 30 years.

Bec and I are big fans of her. She just comes across so naturally and can be engaging on any subject she speaks about. Oh, and she’s got such a quick wit too.

To illustrate, here is the message she posted on instagram this week to celebrate her 60th birthday. Regardless if you are reading these emails in your 20s, 30s or beyond, I’ve bolded the key point we should all resonate with:

Today I turn 60. When I was younger I imagined that meant looking like Whistler’s Mother. But it’s not. ( although I do like a chair with back support). Getting older is a gift. I’ve had friends who haven’t had the chance to age , so I’ll never whinge. I think you only start to age when you think your best years are behind you. Here’s to more. X
