Who’s responsible for your workload?

Another toughie for me.

On balance, I think the individual is responsible for their contribution, while the manager is responsible for creating the structure and accountability around it.

You know your capacity better than anyone.

But if you’re stretched too thin, it’s your manager’s job to help you figure out what to stop, start or shift.

And that only happens if you speak up.

So if you’re feeling overloaded right now, don’t wait for someone else to notice.

Let them know and ask for help.

It’s not being a failure.

It’s being responsible.

Here’s today’s question!

👉Is it better to be LIKED or RESPECTED at work?
