Meaningful pursuits take a lot of time and effort.
Whether it’s launching a business, submitting a major tender or writing a book, you must dedicate a lot of yourself and others to things that matter.
Yet once these amazing feats are accomplished, we can be reluctant to celebrate.
Instead, we define success around how much the business sells, or whether the tender is won, or how much praise the book receives.
It’s like finishing your first marathon, but not celebrating because you didn’t come first.
With pursuits of meaning, crossing the finish line is a very worthy cause for celebration.
So with any goal you have, if you finish what you set out to achieve, see it as a win and celebrate accordingly.
