When you have to present to an audience or facilitate an activity, you may spend lots of time and effort preparing for it.
But then when it comes to your live performance, something happens which isn’t part of the plan.
In that moment, you may feel disappointed or want to apologise because it wasn’t how you intended.
But this can negatively affect the rest of your presentation.
And after all, would the audience know any different?
They’re coming in with zero awareness about how your presentation “should” go, so what may be a misstep to you may not be seen like that by your audience at all – unless, of course, you choose to draw attention to it.
