When we want to make a change but we don’t do anything about it, we find it easy to explain why.
Our reasons* for not doing something sound so genuine, so obvious, so apparent.
And yet the more we hold off taking action, the less genuine these reasons* sound.
And if we finally make the change that seemed so prohibitive before, we look back at our earlier reasons* for inaction and wonder why we held onto them so strongly.
Do me a favour.
Consider for a moment the change you want to make in your career.
How long have you been wanting to make this change?
What reasons* are you making for not taking action?
Will these reasons* really justify how long you’ve waited once you actually make this desired change?
